Putting

Make sure your eyes are directly over the ball, Check your putter is the correct length for you , The putter head should lie flat on the ground" If you are unsure get your pro to check for you.

Always line up your putts by looking at several angles behind the ball first, side on and directly behind the hole.. This will assist you seeing any subtle breaks in the putting surface. Keep your putting stroke an even length on the back-swing and same even length on follow through regardless of how long your putt is.

Chipping

The Club shaft should be angled forward so that your hands are opposite left leg. Lean your weight towards your target and use a firm controlled wrist action "Tick-Tock".

Pitching

Use a 3/4 length back-swing for control. Place the ball in the centre of your feet. Follow through so the club is pointing vertically in front of you.

Wood Play

Use a 7 wood from the fairway or rough instead of your 3. The 7 wood is one of the most popular clubs on the market for both men and women. It will help create more lofted shots out of tricky lies.

Mental Game

Commit to your shots. Don¹t stand over the ball with negative thoughts. If you feel something is not right. Stop and start over.

Bunkers

Remember to set your body aim open (ie. Facing slightly left of your target). Open the club face around 45 degrees. The ball is placed forward in your stance.

Keep your lower body steady going back and always accelerate the club through to your finish position.
